Museum of Linoleum

The Museum of Linoleum, a cyberspace museum based in Reykjavik, is dedicated to the full enjoyment, understanding and appreciation of linoleum. Its mission is to exhibit samples past and present. It invites visitors to it to send in their lino-related tales and picture or samples of lino they use in their everyday surroundings.

The website’s gallery has many interesting photos of linoleum. Readers are invited to send in more, particularly examples of linoleum they use in their everyday surroundings.

The museum makes an attempt at linoleum humor. There is one joke on its humor page. Although it’s a dull dumb joke like many of the jokes dull men like, it’s probably too off color for dull men to enjoy. We are publishing it for you to judge: “Men are like linoleum. If you lay them right the first time, you can walk on them for twenty years.”
