Is there an Accordion Appreciation Society?

August 20, 2010

Dear DMC,

I see you have a nice section about Appreciation Societies on your website. I have often wondered whether there is an appreciation society for accordion fans. I found the button shown above but cannot find any website or other information about the Worldwide Accordion Appreciation Society.

I did find, however, a museum, the Cleveland accordion Museum. Perhaps it can be added to the Collections & Museums section of your website.

Button Societies

November 22, 2009

Hi Grover,

It was great meeting you & hope you had a safe and easy trip back home.

I checked out your site (loved it [exclamation point removed]) and it occurred to me that I belong to The National Button Society. I’m not sure if that’s dull enough to qualify but there’s always hope [exclamation point removed]

I also belong to the Pennsylvania Button Society, which is a little duller.

Stay Dull.

With Kind Regards,

The Cloud Appreciation Society is an organization that many of us enjoy belonging to. Cloud Spotting is certainly a fine form of Safe Excitement. Click here to read about the CAS and to join.

The CAS November Newsletter’s Cloud of the Month, shown above,  is a string of Cirrus clouds forming the number 3. It was submitted by a CAS member from Italy.
